About TCYS

Tuolumne County Youth Soccer is organized and operated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The purpose of TCYS is to promote and administer the development of youth soccer in Tuolumne County and surrounding communities.

TCYS provides the opportunity for youth under 18 years of age to play in organized recreational soccer programs and in competitive soccer programs within the region, state-wide, national, and in international leagues.

TCYS is an affiliated league within the California Youth Soccer Association - Cal North (CYSA), the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

TCYS is majority all volunteer organization and relies on the local community to bring the game of soccer to our youth.  Volunteers are consistently needed to coach TCYS soccer teams, to be TCYS Coordinators, and to be TCYS Board of Directors.

Our Youth Need Us, They Need You!

Our Mission

is to create a positive inclusive environment where all youth can have fun playing soccer, to learn and develop new skills and abilities, to appreciate the healthy active lifestyle of a dynamic sport, and to fall into lifelong love with the beautiful game of soccer by a team of coaches who inspire, teach, and motivate each youth player to become their very best.

Our Vision

is to promote the health and well-being of all youth, to support the growth and development in their game, to foster connections with their peers, to instill self-reliance and autonomy, to promote greater self-confidence, and to pursue excellence with dignity and honor.

“To Empower Youth to Strive for Excellence and Achieve Success”

Our Values, Our Culture

Values and culture are the thoughts and beliefs which drive the standards of behavior. Coaches, players, and parents will model behaviors in interactions with others, both on and off the pitch. Coaches are to create a learning environment during training sessions, on match days, and in team communications where the values and culture can be experienced and practiced. Players are to exhibit behaviors to parents, peers, teammates, and in all interactions. Parents are to support these values and portray them in league and club events, and in life away from the pitch.
